Dr. Dean Gregson
Dr. Dean Gregson attended Brigham Young University for his undergraduate studies before gaining his dental degree from Oregon Health & Science University in 1995. He’s been practicing in the area since then and completes 50+ Continuing Education hours a year! Dr. Gregson is a member of the American Dental Association®, the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He’s also received advanced training in restoring dental implants and treating sleep apnea.
Every few years, Dr. Gregson goes to Nicaragua and performs needed mission work with a local dentist. Many of those in our office and our community have contributed to these trips as well, by providing supplies, clothing and other necessities. Below, and on Facebook, you can see photos of some of his trips.
Dr. Gregson is married with four children and two grandchildren. Most of his time outside of the office is either spent with family or out in the Northwest hiking, biking, kayaking, etc.
Dr. Alice Nguyen
We have very exciting news to share! Please help us welcome Dr Alice to our team. You may have seen her in the office over the past 6 months, she officially starts seeing patients this Monday!!! Dr. Nguyen is a remarkable dentist who seamlessly blends her artistic talents with clinical expertise. Graduating from OHSU as one of the top students in the clinic, she has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious Howard Memorial Student Competition Award for high achievement, the OHSU School of Dentistry Alumni Association Scholarship for Excellence, and the Oregon Academy of General Dentistry Fellowship Track Scholarship, all highlighting her dedication to continuing education. A passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, Dr. Nguyen has been recognized with a certificate of appreciation for her contributions at OHSU. Her enthusiasm for the diverse aspects of general practice is evident in her ability to connect with each patient on a personal level. With unwavering dedication to patient-centered excellence, Dr. Nguyen’s artistic flair and commitment make her an exceptional asset in the field of dentistry.
She takes great pride in her dental artistry, striving to provide the best possible experience for her patients, one beautiful smile at a time! Outside of her dental practice, Dr. Nguyen enjoys swimming, cooking, traveling, and capturing moments through photography and video editing, particularly of her cat, Sushi, and family.

Front Office Manager
Amie joined our practice in 2017. She comes to us with over 20 years of dental experience. She loves working with patients to ensure they have a positive experience at every visit. She enjoys spending time getting to know each patient and assisting them in all aspects of their dental care. When not working, she is busy with her family. She enjoys the outdoors, gardening, yoga, live music and spending time with her friends and family.
Sarah
Scheduling Coordinator
Sarah joined Dr. Gregson’s staff in 2017. She has three years of dental assisting experience, and she is excited to be helping patients in the front office. In her free time, Sarah enjoys neighborhood walks, summer camping trip and visits with her nieces in San Diego.

Dental Hygienist
Summer has her Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene from Oregon Institute of Technology and has been in the dental field since 2004. She enjoys getting to know her patients and providing the best care possible.
Stephanie
Dental Hygienist
Stephanie joined the amazing team at Gregson Family Dentistry in early 2020. She earned her Associate of Applied Science degree from Portland Community College, but her passion for dentistry began at a young age. She has always loved going to dental appointments, and knew she wanted to be a dental hygienist while still in elementary school. Her favorite aspects of her profession are meeting new people and building trusting relationships with her patients. Her high level of professionalism and her passion for patient care equips her to help each patient feel informed and comfortable throughout their visit. Away from professional life, she likes to spend time with her husband, two teenage kids and their unruly canine. She enjoys puttering around her yard, going on adventures, drinking locally roasted coffee and gathering with friends around delicious food.
Mary Lou
Dental Hygienist
Mary Lou received her Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and her Master of Science in dental hygiene from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Her previous faculty appointments include USC, OHSU and EWU. She has dedicated her professional life to dental and dental hygiene education, research, public health, and the many disciplines of private practice. She is passionate about keeping up to date with evidence-based periodontal therapies and providing the highest level of periodontal care for all of her patients.
Mary Lou loves the outdoors and spends lots of time on Mt. Hood skiing, kayaking, and hiking with family and friends and her Great Pyrenees, Bruno. You may also catch her driving her MGA or Chris Craft runabout.
Marilyn
Dental Assistant
Marilyn joined our team in January 2014. She has 21 years of experience as a dental assistant and enjoys taking classes to further her knowledge in the field. On her off-time, she stays busy with her husband, Jeff, and their two boys, Jared and Kyle.
